WMP是Windows Media Player的縮寫，意思是Windows系統自帶的播放器。而Win2003作為不集成Windows Media Player的系統，我們要是想在其服務器主機上播放音樂軟件必須得自己想方設法。勤勞而又聰明的網友們及時地研究了安裝WMP10的幾個步驟，現在便同大家分享下。
在Win2003安裝WMP10的步驟：
1.點擊開始菜單，將系統備份文件清空，在運行中輸入 sfc /purgecache.
2.把WMP10.exe用WinRAR解壓縮到桌面上的一個文件夾，比如WMP10.
3.把提供的WinS2k3文件夾裡面的文件復制到先前的WMP10文件夾中，直接覆蓋同名文件。
4.選中WMP10文件夾中除wmp10.inf以外的所有.inf文件，點擊右鍵---->安裝。
5.在wmp10.inf上點擊右鍵---->安裝。
6.雙擊，把WinS2k3.reg導入注冊表。
7.運行WMP10文件夾中setup_wm.exe。
8.把系統根目錄中的下列文件刪除:(01_Music_auto_rated_at_5_stars.wpl
02_Music_added_in_the_last_month.wpl
03_Music_rated_at_4_or_5_stars.wpl
04_Music_played_in_the_last_month.wpl
05_Pictures_taken_in_the_last_month.wpl
06_Pictures_rated_4_or_5_stars.wpl
07_TV_recorded_in_the_last_week.wpl
08_Video_rated_at_4_or_5_stars.wpl
09_Music_played_the_most.wpl
10_All_Music.wpl
11_All_Pictures.wpl

因為在點擊Inf文件安裝的時候已經安裝了一次，再點擊setup_wm.exe時就又復制一遍到系統根目錄，刪除可避免重復數據。
步驟雖然多但是卻很簡便操作，在這個有美好音樂的世界怎麼能因WMP而阻卻，換系統又顯得過於小題大做，下載軟件也顯得有點累贅，還不如利用好系統的自帶工具恢復播放能力。
